Located in Derekoy are of Gumusluk Bodrum this 2 bedroom villa has all you need for a wonderful Turkish holiday. A lovely, lush garden as well as your own private pool is the perfect oasis for you to simply relax. You’ll be within a 10 minute drive from Derekoy village with a selection of shops, restaurants and a the beaches of Ortakent or Gumusluk are a 15 minute drive. There is WiFi and air conditioning/heating.
The villa is surrounded by mature shrubs, trees– the perfect place to relax in private before taking a dip in the swimming pool to cool off. 5 steps up from here is a terrace with table with chairs - great for a spot of lunch. You’ll also find a shaded spot underneath the pool umbrellas where you can while away the time with a good book.
The front door opens into the open plan living area with traditional decor. There's a fully equipped kitchen and the lounge area with a sofa, TV, feature fireplace and dining table and chairs. Sliding patio doors from the lounge lead out onto the covered patio/pool area and flood the villa with natural light. A central staircase leads up to the first floor .
On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms, 1 double which is ensuite and one twin room. There is also a shared bathroom. Patio doors leading out onto the partly covered balcony with picturesque views, are the perfect spot for a morning coffee or sundowner
A shared driveway leads to a parking area at the entrance of the villa. From here, either enter via the front door or follow a short path to the secluded garden.
The small village of Gumusluk is about 10 minutes drive from Villa Sardunyao. This peaceful village seems a world away from the hustle and bustle of modern life, away from the well-trodden tourist track in central Bodrum.
Head for the two narrow sandy beaches and take your swimming gear, each curling around its own bay and separated by a beautiful rounded islet. At Gumusluk harbour visitors can explore Rabbit Island walking through history along an ancient causeway, enjoying the sun, refreshing yourself in the crystal clear sea are only some examples of what Gumusluk Bay offers visitors. Once you've had enough of sunbathing and swimming sip a local beer or chilled wine at a friendly fish restaurant or cafe along the waterfront, for which the village is famous and where you can sometimes choose your own fish straight from the fisherman's crate or wade through the shallows to the offshore Rabbit Island.
Gumusluk village, is about 25 km from Bodrum and 1km from Gumusluk bay. In the village you will find the post office and local shops including hardware stores, pharmacies, butchers, plumbers, electricians, and carpenters that line the two sides of the street. Weekly market day is Wednesday in Gumusluk.
