Yalikavak is located just 15 km from Bodrum town and is surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery on the Bodrum Peninsula. All beaches along the peninsula are clean and the water crystal clear. Sun loungers and parasols which you can use are provide by near by bars. It is courteous to buy a drink if you a using the sun beds , this is common arrangement on most beaches along the Bodrum peninsula. There is a good selection of restaurants and bars and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The small harbour has good selection of traditional Turkish restaurants selling excellent fresh sea food, you can usually manage to find a table on the edge of the harbour which proved for marvellous views during you meal. For snacks you can visit one of the several cafes in the small town centre. Where every you choose to dine you will find that the staff are very friendly and the service is excellent.
